Stolen motorbike recovered from Crane Park

Good afternoon all, 

After a call from a member of the public stating they had found an abandoned motorbike hidden away in Crane Park with no numberplates, officers where able to locate the bike and safely recover it. After some checks, it was discovered that the bike had been stolen earlier on in the year in a different part of the country! The bike was taken to Perivale police pound for safe keeping until the owner was notified.

If you see any abandoned motorbikes or mopeds in parks or wooded areas around the wards please do let us know. They may be stolen or being used in crime. Alerting police means we can return them to their rightful owners and make sure criminals that are using the bikes to get around, no longer have access to their desired method of transport.
